Common Tropical Fruit

You can find traditional tropical fruit in Agri’s warehouse, including mango, papaya, pineapple, and kiwi. These are versatile fruits that can be used in simple dishes, like fruit salads and salsas, or more elevated recipes.

Surprise guests with a popular South American street food, chili mango. With its unique flavor combination of sweet and spicy, it can be presented as an appetizer, side dish, or dessert.

Exotic Tropical Fruit

You can also find less common tropical fruits in Agri’s warehouse, such as lychee, plantains, passion fruit, and star fruit.

 

Passion fruit is unique in its presentation and taste, since the seeds are actually the edible part. Add it to desserts, smoothies, and sauces, and create refreshing juice drinks like the Hawaiian classic POG, made with passion fruit, orange juice, and guava juice.

 

Bring the flavors of tropical Asian countries when you use lychee in your desserts and dishes. Lychee’s pulp is soft and creamy, while its taste swings between strawberry and watermelon sensibilities with a faint muskiness. Lychee primarily has a delicate flavor that amplifies the others it is combined with — perfect for a light amuse-bouche, cocktails, and desserts.
