Providing fresh seasonal produce is only possible with local farms. While we source produce from all across the country, based on the growing season, temperature and region, we always return to local farms in the Tri-State area.

 

Local produce is easier to keep fresh and more sustainable due to limited travel. Purchasing what’s growing in season means fuller flavor and less need for preservatives. It’s always a treat to tell a guest that their food came from a farm in their own state.

 

Meet the Farms

 

Norwich Meadows Farm– Norwich Meadows Farm is located in New York’s Chenango County. They are purveyors and growers of organic produce and advocates for environmental reform. 

 

Eckerton Hill Farm– Eckerton Hill Farm prides itself as the “Home of the Tomato People.” Though they started growing on a rooftop in Brooklyn, they now call Oley Valley in Pennsylvania home. They grow and sell over 200 types of produce, specializing in more than 100 varieties of heirloom tomatoes and hot peppers.

 

Koppert Cress (Flavour Fields)- While Koppert Cress is an international produce grower, they partner with Flavour Fields located in Riverhead, New York. They are known for their specialty food items, including microgreens, salts, spices, and flavorings

 

D’Ottavio Farms– With over three decades of experience, D’Ottavio Farms prides itself on exceptional produce. While they began in Florida, they have had a farm in Vineland, New Jersey, since 2015. They specialize in organic blackberries, raspberries, and golden berries.

 

Scapellato Farms – You can find Scapellato Farms in Vineland, New Jersey. They produce amazing herbs and are also cattle ranchers.

 

Throughout the year at Agri, we procure fresh, high-quality produce during their peak season from each of these farms. Spring and summer are always the best times for local produce from New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania.
